During 2018, the Spanish Association for Energy Valorization of Biomass (AVEBIOM) will develop a series of informative actions for professionals and citizens of Valladolid, the city where Expobiomasa is held, in order to promote the sustainable use of bioenergy in cities.
The purpose is to publicize the state of implementation of bioenergy, as a source of sustainable and renewable energy, as well as to give the keys to guide citizens to comply with the new legislation and know the trends of the energy market in terms of this energy source directly related to circular economy, bioeconomy, energy efficiency, environment and climate change policies.
The circular economy is the new economic paradigm, in which the raw materials used to create a product can be used again when its useful life ends, in the creation of another new, different product, that is, the concept of waste disappears. to become a new resource, which will be energy in our case. Hundreds of companies have already implemented Circular Economy policies, redesigning their products and value propositions so that they are profitable both in the present and in the future.
The aforementioned informative actions are part of the Subsidies program granted by the Valladolid City Council for Projects to Promote the Circular Economy in the municipality of Valladolid in 2018, promoted by the Valladolid Innovation and Economic Development Agency. There have been more than twenty projects selected, and within this pioneering call, soon, on May 4 and 5, the Second Edition of Circularweekend will be held, another of the selected programs, in which through presentations, workshops and Consulting is about solving challenges and launching new projects.
