Haier 70027134 drain pump for washing machine and washer dryer

Genuine replacement part for the drain pump Haier 70027134 (equivalent to 0020809090J), with an Askoll motor. This is the part that drains the water from the drum at the end of each wash cycle and before the spin cycle. It is fitted to Haier HWD100-BP14636 and HWD90-BP14636, most Haier in the HW70, HW80, HW90, and HW100 series, and some Candy and Hoover from the same group.

When should the drain pump be replaced?

• The washing machine finishes the program with water in the drum.
• A drainage error appears on the display (in Haier it is usually Err2 or E21).
• The pump is whirring, but it's not pumping water.
• It makes loud or rubbing noises during emptying.
• There are water leaks from the lower front area.

Tip: Before replacing it, clean the pump filter and check that the drain hose isn't blocked. If the pump still doesn't turn or hums when blocked, it needs replacing.
