Uponor will show its new heating, cooling and DHW solutions at Expobiomasa

Uponor , a Finnish multinational expert in the development of highly energy efficient invisible air conditioning solutions through radiant surfaces and comfort as well as hygienic solutions for the transport of fluids in buildings, will be present for the fourth year at the largest meeting held in our country in terms of biomass, Expobiomasa. The fair is held from September 24 to 26 in Valladolid.

As novelties, the firm will present at the fair the Uponor Combi & Aqua Port solutions, which achieve an efficient supply of energy for heating and cooling, as well as the hygienic and on-demand production of domestic hot water. In addition, Uponor Aqua Port Central will also be presented, a central system for the instantaneous and hygienic production of DHW in homes, hotels and health centers.

Buildings are responsible for at least 40% of energy consumption and more than a third of CO2 emissions. This reason drives Uponor to develop new solutions that solve these problems. Uponor Combi & Aqua Port
These solutions allow DHW production to be decentralized, with it not being mandatory to maintain temperatures above 60ºC, bringing DHW production as close as possible to consumption.

Thanks to the high energy efficiency of the heat exchangers, the lower operating temperature and the need to have only two distribution tubes, significant energy savings are achieved.

Uponor Aqua Port Central
The hot water required in the building is produced directly in the boiler room by means of the Uponor Aqua Port Central units. These units have heat exchangers made of stainless steel, which allow water to be heated with high performance. This means that there is no need to store drinking water in tanks, avoiding the risk of stagnation and contamination by Legionella and without the need to maintain continuously high temperatures.
