The Spanish Biomass Association and the CIRCE technology center reward innovation in bioeconomy

The promotion of concepts such as circularity and decarbonization is generating a revolution in the field of bioeconomy: new ways of obtaining biomass and valorizing it in the form of bioproducts, biomaterials or sustainable energy are being explored.

But what technologies or processes are really available to take advantage of? How to invest in processes that are unusual? How to open business for a new product? Issues that a company must resolve before committing to a change in the direction of its business.

Make visible the innovations that are already being applied
At this time, with the stimulus of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan , it is key to make visible the innovations that are already being applied to encourage their dissemination and adoption, and, thereby, contribute to the changes necessary to achieve a new economic and social model as outlined in the vision of the NextGenerationEU plan.

For this reason, AVEBIOM and the CIRCE Technology CENTER promote the INtercamBIOM network, which compiles innovative practices already in application so that they can be directly adopted or inspire new bioeconomy, circularity, renewable energy, decarbonization or rural development projects.
