The European Replace project facilitates aid for biomass installations
The Replace project encourages the replacement of old heating and domestic hot water systems powered by fossil fuels with other more modern and environmentally friendly systems, such as biomass.
The Regional Energy Entity of Castilla y León EREN, with the support of Escan Consultores Energéticas, as partners of the REPLACE project, lead this initiative in Castilla y León, promoting public subsidies from the Government of Castilla y León for biomass installations in the residential sector.

Additional help
- Dismantling of existing installations for biomass will be €40/kW, with the limit being €480.
- Increase of 5% in aid for municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants and in municipalities in rural environments with less than 20,000 inhabitants.
Facilities
Given the technical nature of the subsidies, they may be presented by a collaborating installation company as representative of the interested party.
