New bagging facilities for wood pellets in Jaén

In the last months of 2015, there have been several facilities set up in the biomass sector for the packaging of wood pellets with different applications, capacities and characteristics, such as Lucena, Maderas Campo, Infinit... as well as for export with facilities in the Baltic countries and in Latin America 3 bagging facilities, one of which has high production capacity.

Maderas Campos is a company dedicated to the wood sector since its creation in the 70s by Francisco Campos García in Alcalá la Real (Jaén). Throughout these years it has been adapting to new trends and market opportunities, from manufacturing of parquet boards, wood cutting, pallet boards.

In 2005, renewable energies encouraged them to create Ologimasa, a company focused especially on transportation, forestry exploitation and biomass. For this plant, it relied on Elocom for the acquisition of packaging equipment for wood pellets.

The new development in the CV-4000 bagging machines to work with paper reels allows them to offer, in a sector committed to renewables, an ecological packaging that is 100% recyclable as paper. For this, the CV's bagging machines have been adapted with mechanisms and systems that allow the paper sheet to be manipulated for unwinding, shaping and sealing.

This “ecological packaging” has been very well accepted in the sector, and there are already several facilities delivered to package wood pellets with a paper reel.

Latin America
On the other hand, the plant with the largest production capacity for wood pellets in Latin America has recently been commissioned. The facility consists of a complete high production line with peak speeds of 1,650sac/h. in bagging, dosing with double scale and bagging, palletizing with multiple intake anthropomorphic robot and stretch film wrapping machine.
