Javier Díaz has been re-elected as president of the Spanish Association for Energy Recovery of Biomass, Avebiom, for a new four-year term, so he will remain at the head of the association until 2021.
“I greatly appreciate the trust you have placed in me and my Board of Directors; and have no doubt that we will respond with work, dedication and above all with enthusiasm, because I firmly believe that our sector will continue to position itself as a great alternative to fossil fuels, taking up more and more space in the energy sector of our country," he assured. Díaz after his proclamation by the Electoral Board.
They have joined the new Board of Directors – made up of seven members – Román Monasterio Larrañaga (Enerlan Solutions), as vice president; as well as Diego Lamelas (Calor ERBI) and Roberto Bravo (Naturpellet), as members. And they repeat Alberto Bodero, as secretary; and Javier Díaz Manteca (Las Pedrajeras) and José Casado Vadillo (Open Smart Rural), as members.
The first initiative that the new Board of Directors will address – as agreed at the General Assembly – will be the launch of an Advisory Committee, made up of Avebiom associates. This new body aims to give greater participation to representatives of all links in the biomass value chain, as well as to the different autonomous communities that have a significant presence of companies associated with Avebiom.
