Ingeteam will carry out the maintenance of a 16 MW Ence biomass plant

Ingeteam has been hired by Ence for the operation and maintenance of its Enemansa biomass plant in Ciudad Real, a pioneer in the use of pomace, from olive residue, for large-scale electricity generation. Through this activity, the plant contributes to the controlled and clean elimination of the surplus of this native product typical of an olive-growing area, which means its revaluation and the creation of wealth in rural areas.

Ingeteam plans to hire around thirty people to operate and maintain the plant, located in the municipality of Villarta de San Juan.

With an installed power of 16 MW, Ciudad Real is the third biomass plant that Ingeteam operates and maintains for Ence. It is also the winner of the plants that the company has in La Loma, Jaén, and in Mérida; of 16 MW and 20 MW, respectively. These three contracts place Ingeteam's overall maintained power figure at more than 12 GW.
