Ingeteam and Magnon Green Energy are jointly awarded a new biomass plant

Ingeteam and Magnon Green Energy consolidate their trust with the award of the operation and maintenance services of the plant that Magnon, the renewable energy subsidiary of the Ence Group, has in Puertollano (Ciudad Real).

The new contract for the maintenance of the renewable energy generation plant with biomass in Puertollano, called Biollano, has a duration of 6 years and involves the hiring of around thirty people . Inaugurated at the beginning of 2020, Biollano 50 MW constitutes an example of a fair energy transition , since Magnon used the former Elcogás site for the construction of this plant, which contributed to the revitalization of the area's economy and favored decarbonization of the Spanish energy system.

As a result of this agreement, the collaboration and trust between Ingeteam and Magnon is also strengthened with the renewal of the operation and maintenance contracts of the three biomass plants in which Ingeteam provides operation and maintenance services, prolonging the duration of the contracts. themselves. Specifically, the contracts are expanded at the La Loma biomass plants in Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén) and Enemansa in Villarta de San Juan (Ciudad Real) of 16 MW each, and the center that Magnon has in Mérida (Badajoz) , 20 MW.

The agreement with Magnon will mean an increase in Ingeteam's maintained biomass power by 50 MW, thus reaching a total of 152 MW .
