According to data provided by the Expobiomasa management, 10% of the total visitors have traveled to Valladolid representing companies from more than 40 countries in Europe—especially Portugal—America, Africa and Asia. A fact that reinforces the international nature of this event, which has established itself as the most relevant specialized fair in Europe in 2017.

In this sense, it is worth highlighting the activity carried out by more than 20 executives of Mexican companies, who have traveled to Valladolid in search of technology that will allow them to develop the biomass sector in their country. A mission that has had the collaboration of the Junta de Castilla y León.
During the business round held at Expobiomasa, Mexican executives held 300 bilateral meetings with representatives of Spanish and European companies, which have opened new business opportunities and the formalization of commercial alliances.

Important technological advance
For his part, the director of Expobiomasa, Jorge Herrero, has drawn attention to the “spectacular qualitative leap in technology that the exhibiting companies in the sector have exhibited in this edition.” Companies in the bioenergy sector, said Herrero, “have been at the forefront of the international energy market in technology, design and certifications of equipment and biofuels.” And he highlighted, in this sense, the fact that “all manufacturers and distributors of pellets certified with the Enplus quality seal” were present at the fair.

The activity carried out at Expobiomasa 2017 has had a significant impact on audiovisual, digital and printed media, as well as on social networks, according to data provided by the organization.
In addition to the impacts recorded in around 200 media outlets in Spain, Europe and America, interest in the fair has allowed the number of unique users of the expobiomasa.com website to rise to above 30,200 during the week of the fair. which is almost double the figure recorded in the 2015 edition.
On the other hand, the hashtag #expobiomasa and #expobiomasa2017 have generated 4,600 tweets from 1,500 accounts these days, with more than 44 million impacts, to more than four million people. And some of the Expobiomasa 2017 videos that have been uploaded to social networks have registered more than 50,000 views.
