Expobiomasa democratizes its Innovation Award and opens the call to all professionals

Without exclusion: all professionals, companies and public or private entities in the sector interested in competing with their projects, products or services for the Expobiomasa Innovation Award may submit their candidacy.

In this edition of the fair, which is held in Valladolid from September 22 to 24, contestants will be able to participate regardless of their presence at the fair event. The call is thus open to all interested parties, so that it is no longer an essential requirement to be an exhibitor to access the competition.

With this modification in the Prize Rules, AVEBIOM, as organizer of the contest, tries to delve deeper into the sector, eliminating the limitation on participation, thus increasing the opportunities to gather a more complete and varied sample of technological innovations.

What does not change is the nature of the award, which maintains its objective of contributing to the revitalization of the sector through the recognition of initiatives that enhance its economic development. Once again, a single category is established, in which a Prize and two Accésits will be awarded, worth 2,000 euros and 500 euros respectively. Once again, all information provided in each of the applications that compete for the Award will be included in the Expobiomasa Innovation Dossier, which will be published on the official website in advance of the event, and which will be distributed among the media. collaborators and specialized press to promote its dissemination prior to the fair.

Once again this year, apart from the technological component and the degree of innovation, the applications will also be subjected to criteria of originality, applicability and energy savings, to determine the winning option. The experience in previous editions indicates that many times the innovative component resides, not so much in the advances themselves, but in the application that is made of them.
