The Spanish company Prodesa Medioambiente continues with its international expansion process that has led to the signing with the Portuguese paper company Portucel, of a new pellet plant project in Greenwood County, South Carolina (USA). The production capacity of the future pellet plant is 460,000 tons/year.

Portucel began working on this project in 2012.
