The Spanish Biomass Association, AVEBIOM , calls for a competition to reward innovation in the biomass sector in 2023 in two categories: technological innovation and innovative practice. The call will remain open until March 31, 2023 and the prizes will be awarded at the EXPOBIOMASA fair, on May 9, 2023.
The double call is part of the set of activities that Expobiomasa develops from its commitment to the revitalization of the sector and the recognition of the initiatives that contribute to promoting its economic development.
In addition, the award for Best Innovative Practice is part of the H2020 BRANCHES project , promoted in Spain by AVEBIOM and CIRCE and the Network for the Exchange of Innovative Practices with Biomass INtercamBIOM.
The call is open to any company or public or private entity that has contributed technological innovations in the field of energy recovery of biomass or its transformation for other purposes within the bioeconomy.
To participate, interested parties will only have to express their agreement with the contest rules and complete the requested data within the established deadlines.
Visibility for all technological innovations and innovative practices
All applications competing for the awards will be compiled in the Expobiomasa 2023 Innovation Dossier that will be delivered to the media collaborating with the fair before the fair and will be published at www.expobiomasa .com to ensure the greatest visibility of innovations. In addition, the candidatures that compete for the Best Innovative Practice Award will also be published on the website www.intercambiom.org
This call will award a prize for Technological Innovation worth €2,000, two second prizes worth €500 each and a prize for the Best Innovative Practice consisting of a series of promotional actions to publicize the practice through seminars, publications and other display actions.
