The new Varfire boiler from Ygnis has been designed for the production of domestic hot water and heating, using solid fuels such as pellets, crushed almond shells, olive pomace, olive pits, and optionally wood chips. Thanks to its design and oversized surface area, combustion efficiencies of 87% are achieved with very low pollutant emissions.
This new biomass boiler operates at pressures up to 3 bar and is available in 12 models with outputs ranging from 100 to 1,600 kW. One of its major advantages is that models up to 500 kW can be manufactured in a modular fashion, allowing for installation in hard-to-reach locations. Furthermore, Varfire complies with EN 303/5, the standard for solid fuel boilers. It also features a safety system against flashback, utilizing a double auger fuel injection system, a flood valve, and a safety probe in the double auger.
Another major advantage of Varfire is its home design and the large volume of water it handles, allowing it to operate without the need for an additional buffer tank, which is only required in underfloor heating systems. Furthermore, the boiler features manual ignition that can be switched to semi-automatic operation via a switch located on the electrical panel.
Furthermore, Varfire is a highly versatile boiler thanks to the various burner adaptation options available; front, rear, right or left side, and also thanks to its design, as its wide doors greatly facilitate the necessary inspection, cleaning and maintenance operations.
Because of all these characteristics, the new Ygnis biomass boiler is specially designed for industrial installations, guaranteeing high performance with semi-automatic operation.
