From April 10 to 20, the public will be able to vote for any of the eighteen candidates presented in the Best Innovative Practice category of the Innovation Award organized by AVEBIOM together with the INtercamBIOM network and in collaboration with the Expobiomasa fair.
The double AVEBIOM Innovation Award also has the Technological Innovation category . The awards will be presented at the Valladolid Fair, on May 9, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., after the official opening of Expobiomasa.
Among the innovative practices presented are mobile briquetting machines in the field, innovative combustion systems, stoves that simplify cleaning, new ways of selling biomass, digital innovation for efficiency or self-consumption of biomass linked to fire prevention.
One of the main objectives of the INtercamBIOM network (BRANCHES project) is to give visibility to little-known innovative practices that can inspire other companies and entrepreneurs to launch new and disruptive businesses based on the use of biomass.
The deadline for submitting candidatures in the category of Best Innovative Practice, in its second edition, began on January 15 and concluded on March 31. The public voting period will remain open until April 20 . Subsequently, a professional jury will evaluate the applications and their results will be averaged with those of the public to designate the winning practice.
Awards
The award for Best Innovative Practice consists of a series of promotional actions to publicize the practice through seminars, publications and other visualization actions.
On the other hand, the Technological Innovation award is worth €2,000 and two second prizes worth €500 each will also be awarded. 41 candidates have been submitted in this category.
