Ríos Renovables Group will manage the energy for the residents of the building located at 17 Francisco Vitoria Street in Zaragoza. This community, comprising 50 apartments, has a boiler room that was renovated two years ago and operates on , forest-based biomass fuel in pellet form . The three BioCurve brand boilers supply all the energy required by the residents for hot water and heating.
In this way, the Navarre-based company specializing in energy efficiency will now be responsible for supplying the energy needed for domestic hot water and heating, estimated at 80 tons per year. The total energy demand is estimated at 300,000 kWh/year . Furthermore, Ríos Renovables will handle preventative maintenance.
With this new project in the residential sector, Ríos Renovables Group manages a total of four homeowners' associations in Zaragoza with a comprehensive service (supply and maintenance with full guarantee) that use biomass of forest origin as fuel.
The total amount of forest biomass fuel (pellet and chip format) that Ríos Renovables Group allocates to the supply of thermal energy to its customers is approximately 15,000 tons per year , with a total thermal energy delivered of 45 GWh/year.
