Quadpack Wood uses its own waste to generate energy with biomass

Since September 2020, Quadpack Wood has been using its own wood waste to generate energy for its dryers, heating and air conditioning systems, thus eliminating the need for fossil fuels.

With the boiler installed by Termosun , two major requirements are met: total adaptability with other components already existing in the installation and the ability to use a waste of very variable size as fuel, from pieces of wood to sanding dust.

The main feature of these biomass boilers is their large combustion chamber , which ensures complete combustion of the fuel, thus reducing CO and NOx emissions.

With the installation of its own biomass plant, Quadpack Wood reinforces its commitment to the environment and its firm dedication to sustainability. The company also holds FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certifications.
