At the next edition of the Expobiomasa fair in Valladolid, the company Ecoloma Biocombustibles will present a new olive stone pellet for use in medium and high-power biomass equipment. Called Econo Pellet, it is a pellet that is cheaper than traditional wood pellets.
The company will hold a conference on September 26 starting at 11:30 a.m. at the fair to announce the characteristics of its product. The presentation will be given by Joaquín Molina, manager of Ecoloma.
The company, which has an olive pit production plant in Úbeda (Jaén), has managed to obtain the Biomasud A1 certificate for its product. With this, it guarantees the marketing of a homogeneous pellet of verifiable quality.
For the company, “betting on the valorization of olive pits as biofuel is betting on the circular economy, on the bioeconomy, on the generation of employment and wealth in the province of Jaén in a sustainable way, making use of its own resources and obtaining, Thanks to this, a quality biofuel.”
