The Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) has launched the specific program of Aid and Financing Pareer-Crece, endowed with 200 million eur, with the aim of encouraging and promoting the performance of reform actions that favor energy saving, the improvement of energy efficiency, the use of renewable energies and the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions existing.
According to the IDAE, the actions must fall into one or more of the following typologies:
- Improving the energy efficiency of the thermal envelope.
- Improving the energy efficiency of thermal and lighting installations.
- Replacement of conventional energy with biomass in thermal installations.
- Replacement of conventional energy with geothermal energy in thermal installations.
The actions covered by aid must improve the total energy rating of the building by at least 1 letter measured on the carbon dioxide emissions scale (kg CO2/m2 year), with respect to the initial energy rating of the building. This improvement in your energy rating may be obtained by carrying out one type of action or a combination of several.
The owners of existing buildings intended for any use may be beneficiaries of aid from this program, whether they are natural persons or have legal personality of a private or public nature; communities of owners or groups of communities of owners of residential buildings for residential use, constituted as Horizontal Property; owners who collectively own buildings and have not granted the title constituting horizontal property; building operating, leasing or concessionaire companies; and energy service companies.
