Digitize or die? When and how does it make sense to do so?
In the first seminar of the series, “How to Leverage Digitalization for Your Biomass Business,” taking place on July 8, experts from the Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU) will delve into the most suitable Industry 4.0 options based on the type of company and activity, and, above all, identify the aspects that should be prioritized for digitalization to maintain competitiveness in the medium and long term. They will also address how to implement these digitalization processes.
DIHBU is an innovation cluster whose main goal is to promote Industry 4.0 digitalization in SMEs. AVEBIOM has been a member of the HUB since 2020.
Understanding and accessing the funds of the economic recovery plan
The second event, “Recovery Funds: Current Status and Understanding of the Plan’s Main Actions,” will take place on Thursday, July 15, and will feature Deloitte consultants.
Deloitte will present the lines of the "Spain Can" recovery plan that best suit the biomass sector, share its forecasts on the publication of calls for proposals and, above all, explain how to move forward to be prepared and develop certain initiatives to successfully take advantage of these opportunities.
A small portion of the funds has already been mobilized, and several aid packages will be published shortly. A phased rollout of the multi-billion euro “Next Generation Eur” funds is expected to begin in September.
Deloitte, one of the world's leading consulting firms, provides audit, consulting, tax and legal advice and transaction and restructuring advice services to national and multinational organizations in the main sectors of the business world.
Participate in eurprojects in collaboration with the country's leading biomass specialist centers
On July 22, under the title "Biomass in the EurHorizon: how to participate in the next project calls", the third seminar will be held.
The CDTI will provide an initial overview of the Horizon Eurprogram, the successor to H2020, how to participate and the main topics for biomass and bioenergy.
AVEBIOM and the associated technology centers will share their vision on which biomass-based technologies or initiatives may have a future in the next Horizon Eurcalls.
Calls for proposals have already been published - the first batch closes in October 2021 - and now is the time to contact us to join ongoing projects.
This seminar is open to the public so that any interested entity can attend.
