With the recovery, transformation and resilience plan and the 2021-2022 programs of the Eur OPA horizon in progress it is time to get to the train of opportunities: preparing for the calls of the “Spain can” plan and joining consortiums for eur opeos projects.
To make it easier to “catch the train”, online seminars in collaboration with reference entities such as the Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 – DIHBU, the consulting firm Deloitte, the Center for Industrial Technological Development – CDTI and the technology centers national CARTIF, CENER, CIDAUT, CIRCE, IKERLAN and Center for Analysis of the Natural Environment of the UCAV.
The events will take place over three consecutive Thursdays , on July 8, 15 and 22 . Associates have preference to attend the events on July 8 and 15, but upon request and evaluation of interest, external attendees may be admitted.
Go digital or die? When and how it makes sense to do it
In the first seminar of the series, “How to take advantage of digitalizing your company or business in biomass”, which will take place on July 8, experts from the Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU) will delve into the most appropriate 4.0 options depending on the type of company and activity and, above all, in identifying the aspects that should be digitized as a priority so as not to lose competitiveness in the medium and long term. How to launch these digitalization processes will also be addressed.
DIHBU is an innovation cluster whose fundamental purpose is to promote industrial digitalization 4.0 in SMEs. AVEBIOM has been a member of the HUB since 2020.
Understand and access economic recovery plan funds
The second event, “Recovery funds: current status and understanding of the main actions of the plan”, will take place on Thursday, July 15 and will be attended by Deloitte consultants.
Deloitte will present the lines of the “Spain Can” recovery plan that best adapt to the biomass sector, will share its forecasts on the publication of calls and, above all, will explain how to move to be prepared and develop certain initiatives to successfully take advantage of these opportunities.
A small part of the funds has already mobilized and several aid packages will be published shortly. A progressive deployment of the millionaire funds “Next Generation EurOpe” is expected as of September.

Participate in europeos projects in the hands of the main biomass specialized centers in the country
On July 22, under the title "Biomass on the EurOPA horizon: how to participate in the following project calls", the third seminar is celebrated.
The CDTI will contribute an initial vision of the EurOPA horizon program, H2020 heir program, how to participate and the main topics for biomass and bioenergy.
Avebiom and the associated technology centers will share their vision of which biomass -based technologies or initiatives can have a tour of the following calls from the EurOPA horizon.
There are already published calls - the first batch closes in October 2021 - and it is time to contact to join proposals in progress.
