The keys to the correct functioning of a biomass installation, at the Galicia Energy Fair

The Galicia Energy Fair, which will be held from March 22 to 24 at the ABANCA International Fair of Galicia with the support of the Xunta de Galicia through the Department of Economy, Employment and Industry, will have an extensive program of conferences.

Under the title “Biomass installations, keys for the installer”, one of these technical sessions will take place on the first day of the event, organized by the Spanish Association for the Energy Recovery of Biomass (AVEBIOM).

With the aim of highlighting to installers the keys to the correct functioning of a biomass installation, it will have the participation of different companies belonging to the association and focused on different sections of the biomass value chain.

The day will begin by addressing the AVEBIOM Certified Biomass Installer Seal, whose objective is to guarantee that the installations are carried out by a widely competent installer, holder of the RITE card, who also meets a series of requirements and standards that are considered basic and necessary for the performance of their work. Then they will analyze the control and preventive maintenance software for facilities, provided by the company Biokima; the difference between a condensation gas installation and a condensation biomass installation, by Biocurve, and the differences between a diesel installation and a biomass installation, by Hargassner.

Next, Ecoforest and Efilume will explain why to opt for a brand and the differences with a private label, while Suakontrol will talk about the components to minimize emissions in firewood equipment. The keys to energy contracts with biomass will also be detailed, with the firm Calor Erbi being in charge of doing so.

The last two presentations will address energy service companies (ESC) as the perfect ally for the small installer, by the company Foresga, and the importance of a certified pellet for the proper functioning of an installation, by Biomasa Forestal.
