The plant's activity also involves all the logistics linked to the acquisition and transfer of biomass, which is managed directly by Neoelectra , to guarantee the permanent and stable supply of waste. Constituting a permanent industrial investment, boosting the local economy of the Autonomous Communities in which this waste is acquired, which allows the generation of 1 MW of electricity with 1 and a half tons of biomass.

It should be noted that the Villacañas facility has approximately 40,000 m2 , where both the plant and the biomass collection are located, giving direct and permanent employment to about 25 people, contributing to the territorial roots in rural Spain.
