With just five months to go before the opening of the Expobiomasa trade fair (September 22-24 in Valladolid), the preliminary list of exhibitors already includes more than 300 entries from 23 countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, Slovenia, Spain, United States, Estonia, France, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.
According to the organizers, discounts are once again proving to be a key factor in participation levels. So much so that Expobiomasa has already surpassed 75% of its contracted exhibition space with just a few days remaining before the end of the second discount period. Among the sectors represented at the fair, companies related to energy generation for heating purposes—stoves and fireplaces, domestic boilers, and industrial equipment—lead the ranking. Second place is held by technologies for the utilization of agricultural and forestry biomass; equipment for the crushing and chipping of biomass and wood; equipment for the manufacture of pellets and briquettes; equipment for the production and distribution of pellets and wood chips; and systems for the storage, sorting, and drying of solid biomass. Engineering firms and Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) occupy the third position among the most represented sectors.
The registration period for exhibitors ends definitively on June 30, 2015.
