Ingeteam doubles its biomass power capacity with the award of a contract with Greenalia

Ingeteam kicks off 2022 by solidifying its position as a leader in the renewable energy plant operation and maintenance market with the award of a new contract . This agreement, reached with Greenalia , a new client for the Basque company, involves the maintenance of the Curtis plant located in Teixeiro, A Coruña, in the Galician region. This new contract will double Ingeteam's biomass operating capacity, reaching a total of 102 MW .

This contract will have a long-term duration with a comprehensive scope in terms of operation and maintenance services for Generation and Biomass Treatment Park , which strengthens Ingeteam's work in its services and expands the benefits it can offer its clients as an independent multi-service provider of operation and maintenance services in renewable energy generation plants.

Furthermore, this agreement involves the creation of new jobs, with Ingeteam hiring 40 people to provide operation and maintenance services at the Galician plant.

In this way, Ingeteam begins the year with 50 new MW in the power maintained in its portfolio and thus consolidating itself as a partner in the sector to be part of this and other future projects with new clients.
