According to data provided by Expobiomasa's management, 10% of all visitors traveled to Valladolid representing companies from over 40 countries in Eur—primarily Portugal—America, Africa, and Asia. This figure reinforces the international character of this event, which has established itself as the most important specialized trade fair in Eurin 2017.

In this regard, it is worth highlighting the activity carried out by the more than 20 executives from Mexican companies who traveled to Valladolid in search of technology to develop the biomass sector in their country. This mission was supported by the Regional Government of Castile and León.

During the business round held at Expobiomasa, Mexican executives held 300 bilateral meetings with representatives of Spanish and European companies eur opening up new business opportunities and formalizing commercial alliances.

For his part, the director of Expobiomasa, Jorge Herrero, highlighted the “spectacular leap forward in technology showcased by the exhibiting companies in this edition.” Companies in the bioenergy sector, Herrero said, “have positioned themselves at the forefront of the international energy market in technology, design, and certifications of equipment and biofuels.” He emphasized, in this regard, the fact that “all manufacturers and distributors of pellets certified with the Enplus quality seal” were present at the fair.

The activity developed at Expobiomasa 2017 has had a significant impact on audiovisual, digital and print media, as well as on social networks, according to data provided by the organization.

In addition to the impacts recorded in around 200 media outlets in Spain, Eurand America, the interest in the fair has allowed the number of unique users of the website expobiomasa.com to rise above 30,200 during the week of the fair, which represents almost double the figure recorded in the 2015 edition.

On the other hand, the hashtags #expobiomasa and #expobiomasa2017 have generated 4,600 tweets from 1,500 accounts during these days, with more than 44 million impressions, reaching over four million people. And some of the Expobiomasa 2017 videos uploaded to social media have registered more than 50,000 views.
