Expobiomasa 2023: further revitalizing the commercial activity of the bioenergy sector

Expobiomasa 2023 further revitalizes the commercial activity of the bioenergy sector 64648237b8631

More than 12,000 professionals from Spain and Portugal and 40 other countries will visit the Valladolid Trade Fair from May 9 to 11 to learn about the latest biomass technology and contact suppliers directly exhibiting at the fourteenth edition of the Expobiomasa trade fair.

In the 24,000 square meters of exhibition space, Expobiomasa visitors will be able to see the most advanced technologies and innovations related to biomass, from the latest models of stoves and boilers from the main Spanish and eur to the most efficient equipment for obtaining solid biofuels: forestry machinery and equipment for their manufacture; alongside all this technology will be the most important manufacturers and distributors of solid biofuels from Spain and Portugal and the most outstanding companies capable of executing urban heating networks and power generation plants , cogeneration plants or plants for the gasification of solid biomass.

The professional offering is complemented by an attractive agenda of conferences and round tables on the topics that are currently influencing the future of bioenergy in Spain and Europe Eur innovation, sustainability, decarbonization, the solid biofuels market and the development of innovative practices with biomass that lead to new businesses in both bioenergy and the bioeconomy.

Biomass currently replaces the consumption of 2 billion liters of diesel fuel annually, thanks to 2 million domestic wood-burning installations, over 500,000 advanced pellet and other biomass heating systems, and 1,000 MW of installed electrical capacity . This activity employs 40,000 skilled people in a sector that continues to grow steadily and has promising prospects: biomass generates 60% of current renewable energy production in the European Union Eur is projected to supply 50% of all the energy consumed by eur .

Biomass remains the most competitive form of energy.
With the most recent data published by Eur and IDAE on the average prices paid for energy by consumers in Spain in 2022, we have observed that biomass was, by far, the cheapest energy during last winter, the year of the energy crisis in Eur .

Heating an independent home with pellets has cost 44% less than using natural gas ; and, if we look at large consumers, the difference is even more remarkable; for example, for every 10,000 eur of bill paid by a community of neighbors that used natural gas, another community with a wood chip boiler only paid 2,200 eur .

Our commitment to companies and professionals in the sector.
With the organization of this new edition of Expobiomasa, AVEBIOM  maintains its commitment to professionals in the bioenergy sector, helping them in their commercial activity, considerably increasing the sales of participating firms, and with the better performance of the country's economy in terms of the consumption and production of renewable energy, its decarbonization and the improvement of the competitiveness of companies.
