Fire smoke evacuation under control
Since February 1, 2013, it is mandatory that ducts intended for the evacuation of fire smoke have CE marking according to EN 12101:7 in addition to the fire resistance test certificates.
It is important to remember that this test standard, and therefore the product specifications for fire smoke ducts, are completely different from those for ducts intended for ventilation, so in no case can certified ducts be used for applications. ventilation for fire smoke control applications, but vice versa, as the requirements of the latter are much stricter.
