The eurReplace project facilitates aid for biomass installations
The Replace project encourages the replacement of old, fossil fuel-powered heating and hot water systems with more modern and environmentally friendly systems, such as biomass.
The Regional Energy Agency of Castilla y León EREN, with the support of Escan Consultores Energéticos, as partners of the REPLACE project, are leading this initiative in Castilla y León, promoting public subsidies from the Junta de Castilla y León for biomass installations in the residential sector.

Additional aid
- Dismantling existing biomass installations will cost €40/kW, with a limit of €480.
- A 5% increase in aid for municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants and for municipalities in rural areas with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.
Facilities
Given the technical nature of the subsidies, they may be submitted by a collaborating installation company as the representative of the interested party.
