Double award for innovation in the biomass sector in 2023

The Spanish Biomass Association, AVEBIOM , is holding a competition to recognize innovation in the biomass sector in 2023 in two categories: technological innovation and innovative practice. The call for entries will remain open until March 31, 2023, and the awards will be presented at the EXPOBIOMASA trade fair on May 9, 2023.

The double event is part of the set of activities that Expobiomasa develops from its commitment to boosting the sector and recognizing initiatives that contribute to enhancing its economic development.

Furthermore, the Best Innovative Practice award is part of the H2020 BRANCHES project , promoted in Spain by AVEBIOM and CIRCE and the Network for the Exchange of Innovative Practices with Biomass INtercamBIOM.

The call is open to any company or public or private entity that has contributed technological innovations in the field of energy valorization of biomass or its transformation for other purposes within the bioeconomy.

To participate, those interested only need to express their agreement with the competition rules and complete the requested information within the established deadlines.

Visibility for all technological innovations and innovative practices.
All entries submitted for the awards will be compiled in the Expobiomasa 2023 Innovation Dossier, which will be distributed to media partners before the event and published on www.expobiomasa.com to ensure maximum visibility for the innovations. In addition, entries for the Best Innovative Practice Award will also be published on the website www.intercambiom.org.

This call will award a prize for Technological Innovation worth €2,000, two runner-up prizes worth €500 each and a prize for Best Innovative Practice consisting of a series of promotional activities to publicize the practice through seminars, publications and other visibility actions.
