The International Bioenergy Congress -CIB - will dedicate its 14th edition to review the solutions that solid biomass and renewable gas contribute to the change in the energy model in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America and the challenges that arise to achieve their full incorporation into the mix. energetic.
The CIB will be held from September 21 to 23, 2021 in Valladolid , organized over 3 days in the afternoon and in a mixed format, in-person and digital, with the aim of facilitating access to the greatest possible number of professionals and interested parties from both the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America.

12 thematic sessions and 50 speakers from 14 countries
Those attending CIB21 will have the opportunity to listen to the analysis of the main national and European agents on the transposition of the REDII directive and how it affects each of the members of the bioenergy value chain. They will also be able to learn about the application of the latest technologies such as IoT and artificial intelligence in bioenergy projects and will learn about the latest developments in the use of agrobiomass in Europe and the innovations adopted for industrial heat generation in projects already underway.
Throughout two specific sessions, the speakers will share the keys to the renewable gas market and technologies and the latest research and innovations related to the use of biogas and biomethane for energy uses.
In parallel, the CIB will present the situation of the implementation of biomass and bioenergy in Latin America, as well as the results of the latest research developed to evaluate the available resources and the models that optimize their use. In these sessions dedicated to Latin America, the latest technologies available for the sector will be shown.
